Perspectives Family:
Perspectives on the World Christian Movement is part of a larger network of people and resources called the "Perspectives family". The Perspectives family of resources includes discipleship tools, bible studies and video based courses. All of these resources share the same ethos and core ideas of the standard Perspectives course, and all designed to help mobilise and equip for involvement in God's global purposes for all nations.
Kairos is a dynamic and accessible mission course, which will help you to discover what God is doing around the world in fulfilment of His global purpose read more.
The course is designed to educate and mobilise Christians and local churches into strategic, 21st Century World Christian Mission.
Kairos takes you on a journey of discovery with the central idea being that we are all blessed to be a blessing to the nations, whether we 'go', or 'send', 'pray' or 'mobilise' others. Practical integration of learning runs as a theme throughout the course, with the aim that we find our practical place in God's mission agenda.
The Kairos journey is accessible to all, and is not based on academic knowledge (though study is certainly required), but on a multi faceted and multi media learning experience involving - prayer for unreached peoples, lecture introductions, growth discussion groups, short teaching videos, inspirational videos of actual missionary enterprise, interactive cross cultural activities and reading materials for each session.
The course covers Biblical, Historical, Strategic and Cultural aspects of mission, and sessions on Teamwork and Integration. As the name suggests, Kairos is well suited for this strategic time of world Christian mission
